So, that is a time warp for me! Dad bought a brand new one, cinnamon roof and a trimatic, but so many memories rekindled. Learnt to drive and did my test in it.
They were a good looking old car back in the day, still are. Do you ever come across any 6cyl LH-X or UC TORANA,"s? I'm just curious as my husband had a LH Torana 6cyl back in the day(sold it in 2002 for $2500 and even made a profit on it after owning it for 12years)and would ❤️ another 1, but unfortunately they're out of his reach now 😔. Sorry for the long story but he has regretted selling it ever since. 😔
I used to work at GMH @ Port Melbourne. I lament so many people restore cars with non standard equipment by putting in big blowers or things that don't belong in the original design. This example is the way it should be more often. It's like travelling back in a time machine. Extremely well done!

Jim spotted this outstanding HQ on one of our just arrived posts and decided to give us a call. This guy is the busiest guy we know and couldn’t find time to leave his well known souvlaki shop @pitawrap.it So we jumped in the car and took it to him to see whilst he was setting up the shop for the day.
